Tattooing is a form of artistic expression that has been part of human history for thousands of years, across different regions of the world and for a wide range of purposes, ceremonial, identificatory, ornamental, medicinal, aesthetic-reconstructive, and many others. Beyond the aesthetics defined by the distinctive characteristics of each style, their “meanings” reflect the values emphasized within the cultural contexts in which they originated or from which they draw inspiration. Tattooing also serves as a means of interaction among members of a culture, connecting people through aesthetics, meanings, stories, and shared references. No matter how small or simple an idea may seem, tattoos embody thoughts and feelings translated into a form that becomes part of the body for the long term. For a satisfying and lasting result, choosing a qualified professional is essential. Tosh is an artist and tattooer whose first contact with art began at the age of 12, exploring drawing, watercolor, graffiti, and graphic design before developing a passion for the world of tattooing. He has experience creating both freehand and digital custom designs across a wide range of traditional tattoo styles and has also developed original signature styles, including NeoGrafismo, an ornamental style inspired by the graphic traditions of Brazil’s Indigenous peoples, a variation of New School, as well as a series of original calligraphy and typography styles. Throughout his career, Tosh has gained extensive hands-on experience working alongside some of Salvador’s leading tattoo artists, while further developing his skills through workshops with renowned Brazilian and international artists. He also provides trilingual service in Portuguese, Spanish, and English (PT–ES–EN). F.A.Q:
The minimum price is R$ 250.00, covering simple designs up to 3 cm in size located on areas of the body that require less technical complexity. Larger projects are determined through a careful assessment, rather than solely by the design or body area. Factors such as anatomy, skin quality, and the presence of scars or existing tattoos, among others, directly influence the execution time, technical complexity, and planning required for each procedure. Therefore, even when the artwork and body area are identical, the price may vary based on each client’s individual characteristics.
WhatsApp is the fastest and most convenient way to get in touch, with an average response time of up to 3 minutes during business hours. To receive a more accurate assessment, please send the design reference, the body placement, the approximate size in centimeters, and any relevant information about the project. If you prefer, assistance is also available via Instagram, email, or phone call.
Please send the following to Tosh Tattoo’s official channels: a reference photo (or a description of your idea), the body area, the approximate size in centimeters, and your height and weight to help assess proportions (if it is a rework or cover-up, include photos of the existing tattoo).
TOSH has experience in styles such as Fine Line (delicate work), Realism, Maori, Old School, Blackwork, Tribal, Ornamental, Custom Lettering, Dotwork, and Oriental, as well as cover-ups, tattoo touch-ups/reworks, and original custom designs.
Sim.
Biosafety refers to the set of protocols and technical measures adopted to prevent contamination risks during a procedure, protecting both the client and the professional.
In tattooing, this includes the use of disposable and sterilized materials, protective barriers, environmental asepsis, rigorous equipment sanitization, and proper waste disposal, all in compliance with current health regulations.
More than just a legal requirement, biosafety is a key indicator of professionalism. Adhering to these protocols significantly reduces the risk of infection, ensures a safer procedure, and contributes directly to proper healing and a high-quality result.
Yes. Tattooing is a procedure that involves introducing pigment into the skin using needles; therefore, some level of discomfort is to be expected. The intensity of the pain varies based on factors such as the area of the body, individual sensitivity, the duration of the session, the technique used, and each person’s physiological characteristics. Although topical anesthetics are available on the market, their use can alter skin characteristics during the procedure, interfere with pigment application, and, when used without medical guidance, pose health risks such as allergic reactions and other complications. For this reason, we do not sell, supply, apply, or recommend any type of anesthetic. If a client chooses to use one on their own initiative, the decision and responsibility for its use rest solely with them, and seeking medical advice prior to application is recommended. In most cases, the pain is entirely bearable and temporary, and is amply compensated for by the experience and the final result of the tattoo.
The healing process occurs in stages. Under normal conditions, the skin’s surface layer recovers within 10 to 20 days, a period during which peeling, itching, and mild sensitivity may occur. However, complete healing of the deeper layers can take 30 to 60 days, depending on the individual’s body, the tattooed area, and adherence to aftercare instructions. During this time, properly following healing guidelines is crucial to preserving the definition of the lines, the intensity of the pigments, and the quality of the final result. A well-executed tattoo depends as much on the technique applied as on the care taken during recovery.
Tosh develops every project with careful planning, technical precision, and artistic sensitivity, creating compositions that respect each client’s anatomy, proportions, and identity. An artist since the age of 12, he built his career exploring graphite, watercolor, and graphic design before dedicating himself fully to tattooing. During his time at CEFET-BA (now IFBA), he gained expertise in technical drawing and graphic design; he also draws upon knowledge of human anatomy and visual composition to create unique freehand or digital designs across various styles. He is the creator of “NeoGrafismo,” a signature ornamental style inspired by the graphic patterns of indigenous peoples. With experience in over seven tattoo styles and a history of participating in workshops led by renowned national and international artists, combined with the use of professional equipment, high-quality materials, and strict biosafety protocols in compliance with ANVISA standards, he delivers service defined by quality, safety, and excellence. It is no coincidence that clients frequently highlight his professionalism, attention to detail, sensitivity, and ability to understand their vision, resulting in tattoos that exceed expectations.
